Three exhibitions in Museum Kampa are dedicated to three great personalities of the contemporary Czech creative scene. The exhibition entitled Grotesque contains paintings, drawings and smaller sculptures created in the 1970s and 1990s by the versatile artist Eduard Ovčáček (1933 – 2022). The exhibition entitled Stanislav Kolíbal Books and Constructions presents two important areas of work of the great artist, sculptor and illustrator during almost eighty years. The youngest of the three artists in the current expositions of the Kampa Museum is Josef Pleskot (*1952), one of the most remarkable contemporary architects who significantly influenced the appearance of several Czech cities. In addition to Prague, in which Pleskot has been interested since his student years, the exhibition entitled Josef Pleskot Cities focuses on two other urban units: industrial Ostrava-Vítkovice and historic Litomyšl.
